Love Hate Relationship

I'm in a relationship with someone who wants more but is afraid of the future... tells me not to fall in love and if i do to tell him so we can finish the relationship... but what if i do fall in love... with this X .. i could never X how i was feeling.. i have said TQM meaning te quiero mucho.. translation i care about you alot... i just don't know.. I really do care about X and i hope that i can make X happy... but what if X doesn't want this... what if X is just playing with my emotions.... i hate what ifs...
